Wheelchairs for Payton Given
As many of you are aware, my family suffered a devastating loss this year, when my beautiful cousin, Amy Given, passed away at the age of 34. She left behind four beautiful daughters, an amazing husband and so many more who are still reeling from this loss. Payton, one of Amy and Brad's 4 year old triplets, has Spastic Cerebral Palsy and will be needing wheelchairs for when she starts school in September. Please read the following message, written by Amy's husband, Brad and if you can help in anyway, let me know.
"I am asking and reaching out for help. Wouldn't it feel AMAZING to be a part of helping a 4 yr old beautiful little girl with Spastic Cerebral Palsy get wheelchairs to be able to go to school next year? We are trying to help raise monetary, product and/or service donations for Payton Given (Amy and Brad Given's daughter). As most of you are aware, Amy Given passed away January 26, 2012 and left behind a beautiful teenage daughter, beautiful triplet girls and myself. There is a benefit taking place on November 24th at Sackville Super Bowl (6 PM viewing and 7 PM auction) for Payton Given. Also, an account in trust of Payton has been set at Scotiabank Lower Sackville as well as an account with Sackville Bottle Exchange that you can donate your recyclables to. The account number is 33 so please take your recyclables to Sackville Bottle Exchange and donate to account 33. If you don't want to drive out to Sackville, I will go around one day to collect any recyclable donations you would like to contribute. Just give me a call. There are tickets for sale to attend the Benefit and Auction for $5 and other tickets available as well for draws. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE no donation or support is too little because every penny counts towards Payton's wheelchairs and being able to go to school next year. I would like to thank everyone in advance for your thoughtful support and help. As you all know me I am not a person to reach out and ask for help but know I really need to. Thanks again everyone. This is such an important and worthy cause and one that means so much to me. Anything at all is a huge help. I have also been collecting the tabs off of pop tabs for the family. If anyone is interested in giving them to me at work, I will make sure to pass them on.
