Dear Beloved Community:
For the past 5 years I have been dreaming of a time when I can move to the South and begin my work as a therapist, social worker and budding doula within queer/people of color communities. The time is now. My love of NYC will never die, and I will always be coming back for periodic visits because well I love you. What I need in order to begin diving into my work in the South is money to move. I have been applying for at least 5 jobs a job to pay rent and trying to save up--something that is simply not possible in NYC. I am excited to explore the job leads I have in Atlanta while getting grounded there.
I am grateful and very blessed for the many ways that people and community have shown up for me over the years. I'm asking that you support me as I make this move to the South to actualize my dreams and improve my overall quality of life. I look forward to living in a city where I can slow down, attend to my health needs, and focus on healing work that addresses the trauma impacting our communities.

$65: every wanted a private yoga session because either yoga in a big group is intimidating or the yoga classes themselves are judgey cuz ur chunky or not flexible "enough" or are queer/trans or you just don't feel comfy? here is your chance. you'll get a loving and guided yoga lesson that will also be accompanied with a conversation about health needs. Avi Rose is an amazing healer and yoga instructor who is critical about her approach and believes that everyone should have access to caring practioners who can advise people on health, herbs and yoga positions that are body/fat-positive. You'll never feel like you in better hands than with Avi Rose.
$75: i'll make you a piece of art. i collage like woah and love to make them when i travel. I use unique papers bought at art stores, found materials, reciepts with fun emblems, paint, pencil and other materials that catch my eye. Artwork is colorful and done when in a contemplative state. I meditate while I create so love and reflections are the energy that go into making art.

$150: a 3 hour workshop on fatphobia that is queer/trans/people of color informed. materials & travel not included but negotiable. i have over 20 years of facilitation experience and feel that talking about issues of the body that look at the intersections of fatphobia, ableism, colonization and child sexual abuse are not only neccessary but life-saving. As a support group counelor who worked with queer youth questions of the body are informed by trauma and oppression. So lets talk about the chunkies and the fatties and how WE are harmed EVERY.SINGLE.DAY and what you can do to stop it.
$250: feel stuck? need a motivator or coach to help you pull your life pieces together? with 2 sessions (1.5 hours each) we explore what you want your life to be, what is blocking you and what you can do to unblock. you deserve all that you want and this will be the space to get affirmations and also document concrete ways to put things into action. Use my resources, networks, creativity and therapy skills to support you getting grounded in your life and passion. The only question is: are you ready to be to the BOSS of your life?
