Mama Rose's Disney Dream

Please help fund my mom's last wish--a dream vacation to disney world. 

Recently my 70 year old mother Rose was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The diagnosis was devastating and the prognosis was not good--even under the best circumstances with aggressive treatment most people her age would only live another 8-12 months. Due to other health issues however, my mom is not able to tolerate the intense chemotherapy and it would likely kill her outright. So, the doctors believe that with supportive care of low dose oral chemotherapy, blood tranfusions, and anti-biotics she is likely to live only 2 months. So, for the time she has left I want to make sure she enjoys life to the fullest and gets to fulfill some of her wishes.

The biggest and longest held of these wishes is to go to Disney World. Those of you who know my mom know she has always been a child at heart and it would mean so much to her to be able to have this trip. Mom has always dreamt of this but due to financial difficulties  we have never been able to make it happen.

Your donation will help us make mom's dream come true. The funds raised here will pay for transportation, accomodations, meals, and activities at Walt Disney World resort for mom, myself and my husband and our children.

Note: If we should be unable to take this trip funds may be used for a smaller trip or towards medical expenses and final arrangements.
