Who killed Aylett Hanson ?

Donation protected
Aylett Hanson was murdered on the afternoon of January 22nd sometime after 3:30 p.m. His friends and family searched frantically, calling anyone he knew, posting on Facebook, driving around praying he was broke down with a dead cell phone, and even calling hospitals in a desperate attempt to have their mounting panic proven false. All the while Aylett was lying dead in his car in a strip mall parking lot across from the Beartooth Theater. One of the friends who was searching for him had the heartbreaking role of finding him and calling 911. He appears to have been in his vehicle for 22 hours after his murder with a smashed window before this friend notified authorities. If you have any information please call the Anchorage Police Department [phone redacted]

We never expect to lose a family member or friend at such a young age, much less have them taken from us. In an effort to support his family, find the person responsible for taking Aylett's life, and have a celebration to honor him we are asking for your donations.

Aylett was a loving, kind, thoughtful, and selfless person. Anyone close to him knows he was the life of the party, adventurous, sharp witted, and loved putting on huge fireworks displays for his friends and family. Aylett was not a fair weather friend. He would give you the shirt off his back, food from his plate, or his roof over your head if you needed it. He loved his family and friends fiercely. If he called you friend he loved you. He always looked out for you, and stood between those he loved and anyone who tried to hurt them. His cat Ninja would sit happily on his shoulders as they climbed up Flat Top. He loved Ninja and took him hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, and everywhere else his adventurous spirit could imagine. He was one of a kind and had the cat that showed it like no other. Ninja is smart, and he knows Aylett is gone. He will spend the rest of his days being loved by friends and family, but we all know it won't be the same.

Together we can raise money to help with the cost of cremation,a memorial service, and travel expenses to bring his family to say goodbye. No one should have their 31 year old son, brother, and best friend taken from them.

To honor Aylett we need to find his killer. Money is needed to continue to search. We will create posters and use other media sources to do this.
Please help him live on by supporting his family. Take a walk, go sledding, call your friends to tell them you care, and like Aylett, don't let a day go by without laughing.
