Helping out The Benson Family
I'm creating this site for a close friend of mine. Jordan's sister passed away due to blood clots in her brain. I've only known Jordan for a few months and this guy has my back no matter what. I want to give something back to him and his family. The money donated will go toward any and everything the Benson family needs, to say a proper goodbye to their daughter Erin Benson. If its the pile up of medical bills for the multiple surgeries and different hospitals they traveled to or money for a funeral. I'm only one guy, and if i had all the money in the world i would lend it to this family to help ease the pain a little. Below are updates on the status of Erin. That way you'll have an understanding (I did not know her personally, so i'll be using statues updated through Jordans facebook).
Dec 19, 2013: "Praying for my little sister Erin Benson who's in the E.R. waiting for a doctor to find out what's wrong. I know you're scared but I know you can make it through this!"
Dec 20, 2013: "Update on Erin Benson. She had a stroke last night, and has 2 blood clots in her brain. Pray for her and her doctors."
Dec 25, 2013: "This Christmas was a little different this year. It was spent in the hospital. And for the first time, I felt and understood what this holiday is about. It's not about material things; it's about your family and the time you spend together. Today I am glad my sister is alive and able to see the family on this day. Thank you God for the strength you've given her. Her being alive today was what made this Christmas the best one yet."
Jan 3, 2014: "Update on Erin Benson. She has had clotting issues the past two weeks with increasing pain from the multiple surgeries she's had throughout the week. She and my mother were life flighted to Shands in Gainesville Fl. She has also been put on a ventilator to help with her breathing. Continue to pray for her and her new doctors. Thank you everyone for your continuous support!"
Jan 12, 2014: "Celebrating the life of my beautiful little sister Erin Benson. She has been brain dead for the last week, and the family has decided to take her off life support. She will no longer be suffering. It is such a hard decision and such a difficult time. She will be loved and missed dearly. Thank you to her doctors in Pensacola and in Gainesville for all you've done. Thank you God for the blessings my family has received and thank you to the people who've prayed, donated, and were just there to love on the rest of the family. It will be a very long and tough road for us. Never take life for granted because it can change in an instant. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart everyone. You've all been amazing!
I love you Erin. And I will see you again one day!"
