Doc Chihuahua's Silver Star Travel Fund
UPDATE: WE MET OUR DONATION GOAL IN ONE DAY!!!
PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE THIS CAUSE WITH OTHERS-
ANY AMOUNT ABOVE THE GOAL GOES DIRECTLY TO THE TRAVEL NEEDS OF THE FAMILY OF DOC CHIHUAHUA AND HIS FORMER BROTHERS IN ARMS
For those who are unaware, Specialist "Doc" Shannon Chihuahua gave his life for his brothers in arms while serving as a medic with the 101st Airborne Division in Kunar Province, Afghanistan on November 12, 2010. Doc sacrificed himself so that others might live.
His heroism is being recognized at a Silver Star Ceremony at Fort Campbell, KY on February 7, 2014.
Many of Doc's family and former Army buddies are scattered throughout the United States and desire to attend, but need help with travel costs. Please help support a travel fund to get family and friends to Doc's Ceremony.
You may have already seen or given to the t-shirt drive (https://www.booster.com/shannonchihuahua?share=1581387907602183). As an alternative you may give directly here on gofundme.com.
