Ryan Zinna is a 7 year old boy fighting against recurrent Medulloblastoma. He is in the Comsewogue school district currently attending Norwood Elementary....
Ryan was diagnosed at the end of his kindergarten school year with Medulloblastoma. Ryan was not able to attend school for his 1st grade year while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments for this brain cancer.
Ryan and his family were thrilled this year, when he was on the road to recovery and returned to Norwood Elementary for second grade. His friends were thrilled to have him back and healthy. Unfortunately, the family was devastated to learn 2 months ago that doctors had discovered another brain tumor during routine testing.
This brave boy and his family are now faced with invasive treatment which will include chemotherapy radiation, and long hospital stays away from family and friends.
