Morning will Come E.P.

Worship band Saint Lewis set out to record a 2nd CD, "Morning will Come", bringing together themes of God's Sovereignty & His Intimacy.

We've already completed FOUR songs from this upcoming project: "Your Mighty Hand", which has since - without radio promotion - seen airplay on upwards of 200 radio stations, & has been sung at roughy 250+ churches internationally, and "Your Will", which debuted in the iTunes top 200, selling over 500 copies in the first 3 days of its release (both of which were paid for by a previous Kickstarter). As a result, we signed a publishing deal with Risen Music for a couple years - a publisher focused on songs birthed within local churches - & it proved to be a blessing! Since, through Risen we released "When this Day Ends", a co-single with McKendree Augustas from Kari Jobe's band & Mark Seigel of Capital Kings, & - through a partnership with Jacksonville-based Ascension Worship -
"You won't Stop", cowritten with "Redeemed"-cowriter, Benji Cowart. That is all just to say, we're stunned by what God has done so far, but are even more excited about what's next!

Trust, Hope, & Intimacy: a few of the major themes God's been teaching us. Our debut CD, "Songs from the Hope Farm", was a success in what it was intended to be: documentation of where we had begun - songs written within the context of a small youth group on St. Simons Island, out of the themes we had been studying and praying through as a movement. I equate that CD to the first mark you make on a door when measuring your child: I'm very proud of it but I believe God called us to more.

These past couple of years have brought much change: I've not only switched churches, positions, & responsibilities, but the vision is much bigger. We're no longer writing just for our youth group, nor only for MY church, but to serve the church at large, which is why these songs are all co-written with other worship pastors with a heart to do the same. To help make the best use of God's gifts, the time I've been given, and to have the greatest Kingdom-impact, I've partnered with worship pastors from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tampa, Denver, Louisville, Kansas City, Greenville, Nashville, Dallas, & Chicago to join my heart and mind with other creatives in the church, crafting a batch of songs that can both glorify God and serve all of our congregations corporately. "Songs from the Hope Farm" was primarily a collection of songs that blessed my friends and I - "Morning will Come" is to be a collection of songs to encourage the whole body of Christ, & serve church as a whole.

We've picked 8 songs:
1. Joy in the Morning (Shannon & Cyle Lewis, Mark Seigel, Jamie Miley, Ian Zumback, McKendree Augustas)
2. Your Mighty Hand (Shannon Lewis, & David Dalton)
3. You Won't Stop (remix) (Shannon Lewis, Benji Cowart, McKendree Augustas, & Jamie Miley)
4. Your Will (Shannon Lewis, Gary Durbin, Bobby Gilles, & McKendree Tucker)
5. When this Day Ends (Mark Seigel, McKendree Augustas, Shannon Lewis, Jamie Miley)
6. Morning will Come (Shannon & Cyle Lewis, Jamie Miley, & McKendree Augustas)
7. Wandering Heart (expanded remix) (Shannon & Cyle Lewis)

I want to be a good steward of these songs.

Originally intending to produced the rest of the CD independently, after multiple attempts in my home studio I just can't approach the professionalism with which Trey Roth & Edgar Vargas produced the other singles, nor can I afford the addition $3,500 PER SONG (that's a DISCOUNT - remember, these guys are usually producing Casting Crowns, Third Day, & Fee, among others) to finish the CD at Trey's studio. HOWEVER, I've spoken to my producer, & we have a plan - & I'm hoping you're willing to be a part of it!

I'm excited about these songs, as many have already begun having an impact, and as my recent publishing agreements unfold, these songs have an immediate potential reach in the hundreds of thousands. Through a special arrangement with a local studio, I have worked out a way to get these songs recorded with the same professionalism/radio-readiness of "Your Mighty Hand" and "Your Will", while only costing me a fraction of the cost. Though $2,000 might sound like a chunk of change, God can do big things, & it's FAR more manageable than the $13,000+ I was looking at to finance the rest of the original project.

What I'm doing is personally reaching out to a very few people who have been encouragement in the past - who financially might be able to give towards this project - and who I suspect would be blessed by these songs, themselves. Our plan is to enter the studio locally wrapping it up in Atlanta, then tackling the next song - one by one - so hopefullying the CD will see the light of day by May.

As a friend, prayer-parter, encourager, and co-laborer with Christ, are you willing/able to help us complete this work that we started?
