Hello everyone!
I am honored to announce that I have recently been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be an intern at the International Cannes Film Festival May 13-26th, 2013. This is literally a dream come true, and is a huge step toward my future career. Only 75 interns are chosen globally, and I was lucky enough to be given early acceptance. Plus, the program falls over my 21st birthday - a huge bonus!
However, getting accepted is only the first step. There's still one thing standing between me and attending the largest film festival in the world. The program I'll be attending, Creative Minds in Cannes, charges a fee which covers the following:

"¢ 15 NIGHTS OF SHARED ACCOMMODATIONS
"¢ BREAKFAST & LUNCH
"¢ INTERNATIONAL CELL PHONE

"¢ ROUND-TRIP SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN AIRPORT & HOTEL
"¢ SETTING UP OF THE INTERNSHIP
"¢ INVITATION TO SHORT FILM COMPETITION SHOWCASE
"¢ INVITATION TO SHORT FILM SHOWCASE AFTER PARTY
"¢ CREATIVE MINDS STAFF ON CALL FOR CONSULTATION & TROUBLESHOOTING
"¢ CREATIVE MINDS IN CANNES PROGRAM T-SHIRT
"¢ ASSISTANCE WITH POST FESTIVAL JOB SECURING
Plus, I'll need to pay for airfare.
I absolutely would not be asking if it was possible for me to do this on my own, but unfortunately, I need YOUR help to make this into a reality. I understand that money is tight, but even the smallest amount helps me get one step closer to reaching my goal.
