The Dollhouse Project

The Story Collective is a non-profit organization* that creates collaborative artistic projects with a social conscience. Our current project is a contemporary dance tour called "The Dollhouse" that is a collaboration of professional dancers, choreographers, artists, writers, designers and composers. We premiered the show on July 29-30, 2011 at the Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, NC with an overwhelming response from the community!

We will be traveling to perform in Nashville, TN on August 12th. All profits from The Dollhouse tour will go directly into the hands of organizations that are fighting Modern Day Slavery.

It is estimated that Human Trafficking generates 32 billion dollars annually. This makes trafficking the second most lucrative crime in the world. Two children are sold into slavery EVERY MINUTE. Over 100,000 US children are forcefully engaged in prostitution or pornography each year. When you KNOW about it, you can not just turn away and do nothing.

We hope to use our art to shed some light and raise awareness and funds for this extremely important issue. Your donation will help us bring this project to life.
